My kids received their report cards today. I am happy to say that both of them made the honor roll. My daughter has four As and two Bs, and my son has one A and two Bs. I am so proud of them both. My daughter is obsessed with her grades. She almost cried because she doesn’t have straight As. She was close though, because her Bs are a 93% and a 90%. She can be so melodramatic at times.
I hope they both stay encouraged and keep up the good work. I haven’t decided what their reward is going to be yet. I may just let them decide on what we do this weekend.
That is awesome! It makes being a mother so much worth it, right?
ReplyDeleteWhen she gets to be in college, I'm sure she'll be more than happy to get 4 "A's" and 2 "B's".
But I thought a 93% is an "A-".
Ice Cream would be a sufficient reward for me.

I remember the times with report cards, it seems so long ago. My sister was like your daughter, she got straight A's ALL the time and if she didn't something was wrong with the universe or the teacher. But it is good she feels that way at a young age that way you want have any problem getting her to do something with her life. My sister is about to finish pharmacy school, so expect great things!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to them!
